【植物形态】
植物形态：常绿缠绕性木质藤本，长可达4米。叶互生，倒披针形至长椭圆状倒卵形，长5~10.6厘米，宽1.8~3.8厘米，基部楔状，先端尖，边缘疏生有锯齿，偶为全缘，表面深绿色有光泽，背面苍绿色，侧脉10~15对，叶柄长10~12厘米。花黄色，单性异株，单生于叶腋，花梗肥大，花萼5~9片，多数，在外部者小而圆，中部及内部者较大，广椭圆形或倒卵形，雄蕊多数，集合为头状，雌蕊分离，心皮多数，集合为球状，柱头为圆盘形。浆果椭圆形，多数小浆果集合成球形的聚生浆果，熟时紫红色，有白粉。 生态分布：产我国长江流域各省；多生于阔叶树林边，沟谷灌丛中。 药用部分：根、根皮、茎、果入药，全年均可采收。 用途：根性味苦、甘、微温，微有香气。行血理气，消胀止痛，驱蛔虫。用量：根3~5钱，研末3~5分。孕妇慎用。
