This paper firstly presents a classification of medical image registration methods in terms of seven standards, then summarizes some major registration methods from three aspects, such as moment and principal axes method, mutual information, and correlation method etc.

Cross-weighted moment algorithm is used to calculate the horizontal translation measure, vertical translation measure and vertical measure of two initial images which are used as the initial registration parameters.
本文采用主轴矩法计算两幅原始图像的水平平移量、垂直平移量和旋转量,然后设定初始配准参数,将此初始配准参数作为局部搜索法的初始参数。

This algorithm uses mathematic morphology method to extract the boundary of registration images at first, and then calculates the floating image s centroid coordinates and the angles of rotation through principal axes algorithm.
该算法首先使用形态学方法提取图像的边界,再用力矩主轴法算出浮动图像进行刚性变换的初步平移量和旋转量,然后以此作为互信息法的初始参数进行寻优,找出最佳变换,实现CT和MR医学图像的自动刚性配准。

Because there are clear contours in CT and MR image, we presented a registration method based on principal axes.
针对头部 CT与 MR图像轮廓清楚的特点 ,提出了一种基于轮廓的力矩主轴法配准方法 ,该方法通过提取图像的外围轮廓 ,计算出图像轮廓的质心及主轴 ,通过旋转和平移变换使两幅图像的质心及主轴对齐 ,从而达到配准的目的 。
