花鲈 Lateolabrax japonicus;blackspotted bass 鲈形目叉尾鲈科鲈属的一种。又称鲈鱼,花寨。体延长,侧扁,背腹面皆钝圆;口大,倾斜;上颌骨后端扩大,伸达眼后缘下方;两颌牙细小,呈带状;前鳃盖骨后缘具细锯齿,隅角处具钝棘;体被小栉鳞,侧线完全;背鳍2个,仅在基部相连;背鳍11~13鳍棘;臀鳍具3鳍棘;胸鳍较小,低位;腹鳍位于胸鳍基底下方;尾鳍叉状;体侧及背鳍鳍棘部散布有黑色斑点,此斑点常随年龄增长而减少。分布于东亚中国、朝鲜及日本的近岸浅海;中国沿海均有分布,喜栖息于河口或淡水处,亦可进入江河淡水区。主要食虾类和小杂鱼等。肉质鲜嫩,为经济鱼类之一。
