为爵床科植物细穗爵床的全草。
【植物形态】
细穗爵床 多年生草本,长达1米许,折断时有丝状液汁。茎具细条纹,节处膨大,下方着生须状根。叶对生,椭圆形,长7~11厘米,宽2.5~5.5厘米,先端渐尖,基部圆钝或阔楔形,全缘,叶脉两面疏生短毛;叶柄长2~5毫米,向上渐短。总状花序顶生;苞片2枚,三角形,长约2.5毫米,有短毛;小苞片2枚,狭三角形,长约2毫米;花萼5深裂,裂片线形或披针形,长约7毫米。两面疏被短毛;花冠白色,有毛,2唇形.上唇2裂,下唇3裂,长约2厘米,中部以上膨大,基部收缩,内面具紫晕;雄蕊4,2长2短,花药蓝紫色,2室;雌蕊1枚,花柱线形,基部被毛,柱头2裂。蒴果椭圆形,有种子4颗。花期10月至翌年1月。 生于阴湿的林下及水沟旁。

全年可采,割取地上部分,晒干或鲜用。
【功用主治】
散瘀,止血,止痛,驳骨。治跌打损伤,骨折。
【用法与用量】
外用:捣敷。
