昌德金：男，1944年出生，湖北仙桃人。大学本科，教育管理副研究员。21岁任沙市市委秘书，由其主笔的社论、重大节日致辞、领导讲话多见诸报端。曾为湖北省教育学会会员、教育管理学会理事；市德育研究会副会长、市心理学会理事、市心理学会教育专门委员会主任委员。撰德育研究、三结合教育研究、学校管理研究论文多次评为市社科论文—等奖。1983年，任市十三中校长，学校被评为全省先进学校，出席在洪山礼堂召开的表彰会，居中受时任湖北省长黄知真亲授锦旗。1987年任沙市市教委普教科长，出席国家教委在洪山宾馆召开的全国[除西藏外]各省、市、自治区、经济计划单列市教育主管官员参加的教育研讨会，由其撰写的文章在大会上作典型发言。其理论性、实践性、经验性受到国家和省教委领导的高度评价。收入大会典型经验文件汇编。1990年任沙市四中校长，被评为湖北省首届市十佳校长。1992年调任沙市大学，任副校长,现为正处级调研员。
