性质:白色粒状结晶(乙醇)。熔点132~133℃。旋光度41.5°(c=0.53,乙醇)。可以从红花五味子(Schisandra rubriflora Rehd.et wils.)种仁的乙醇提取物中分得,亦可从长梗南五味子(Kadsura longipedunculata Finet et Gagnep.)的根和茎、翼梗五味子(S.henryi)中分得。小鼠口服本品200mg/kg有明显的保肝降酶及诱导肝脏药酶的作用。能对抗阿霉素引起的心脏线粒体毒性。
