性质:又称笑气(laughing-gas)。无色有甜味气体。沸点-89.4℃。熔点-90.86℃。相对密度1.52气体(空气=1);液体d4-891.22。溶于乙醇、乙醚及浓硫酸,微溶于水。有麻醉作用,人吸入极少量,就能引起发生狂笑。能助燃,与空气能形成爆炸性混合物。将硝酸铵在200℃加热分解或加热无水硝酸钠和无水硫酸铵的混合物而得。医学上用于牙科及外科手术的麻醉剂及其他麻醉剂的诱导药,3040kPa贮于钢瓶中,供使用。也可防止有机液体的腐蚀。
