To understand the neurochemical mechanisms underlying the vestibular compensation, we determined the levels of amino acids such as aspartate, glutamate, glutamine, glycine, taurine, alanine in the medial vestibular nucleus (MVN) following unilateral labyrinthectomy (UL), by using in vivo brain microdialysis and high-performance liquid chromatography technique.
本实验用脑部微量透析法和高效液相色谱法观察单侧迷路破坏(unilateral labyrinthectomy,经利多卡因或对氨基苯胂酸盐预处理以阻断单侧外周前庭器官)后大鼠同侧及对侧前庭神经内侧核(medial vestibular nucleus,MVN)区部分氨基酸(天冬氨酸、谷氨酸、谷氨酰胺、甘氨酸、牛磺酸和丙氨酸)含量的变化,以了解前庭代偿的部分神经化学机制。

In this article we review the current literature on histaminergic neurotransmission in the brain focussing particularly in the brainstem vestibular nuclei,and the role of histamine in brain plasticity during“vestibular compensation”,the behavioural recovery that takes place after unilateral peripheral vestibular damage.

急性淋球菌性前庭大腺(巴氏腺)炎
病名。 淋病类型之一。为急性淋病患者因淋球菌侵犯前庭大腺所致该部红肿并有脓性分泌物溢出者 。通常其症状较轻，但当形成脓肿的则有红肿热痛之象，患侧小阴唇中下段可触及有压痛之 囊性肿物，约拇指乃至蛋黄大小，腺口溢脓。诊断可据从此处穿刺抽取或挤压出的脓溢涂片 或培养出淋球菌。治疗可参附录“淋病治疗方案”。并可用敏感抗生素加利多卡因适量做腺 体内及周围封闭治疗(注射前先抽尽腺体内脓液)，必要时做腺体切开引流术及切除术。
