骨皮质
解剖学术语。解剖学上骨皮质为松质骨与骨外膜之间紧密排列的分层骨板。这种分层骨板环绕纵行的血管呈向心性排列，这一圆柱状单位称哈佛系统。每一哈佛系统含有5～20层骨板。于哈佛系统之间的间隙内充有不规则的间在性骨板层。皮质之外及内面为周边性骨板层。骨皮质内的哈佛管(纵行)与伏克曼管(横行)共同组成连续的位于皮质内的管道系统，其中容纳着骨的营养血管。在X线平片或CT片上，骨皮质呈致密的密度，均匀一致。在骨干中段较厚，向两端逐渐变薄，至骨端时仅为一菲薄骨层。扁平骨的皮质较薄。骨皮质外缘一般多光滑，但在肌肉或肌腱附着处则凹凸不平。可根据骨皮质的密度、形态及连续性的改变分析和诊断疾病。在MRI上，由于骨皮质的成分以矿盐为主，缺少氢质子，故表现为无信号的暗影。因此骨皮质的病变不宜用MR评价。
