何炳元
何炳元（1861-1929年） 近代医学家。字廉臣，号印岩、越中老朽，浙江绍兴人。世医出身，先习儒，为痒生。后弃儒习医，从师数人，有祖秀山、樊开周、沈云臣、严继春等名医。对不同师承均能融汇贯通，临证每获奇效。又尝深研西医译著，汲其所长。先后行医五十余年，诊务之余，参加社会活动，又勤于著述。尝历任绍兴医学会会长、神州医学会绍兴分会评议长、《绍兴医药学报》副总编辑。著有二十余种医著，其中如《湿温时疫治疗法》、《内经存真》、《全体总论》、《何氏医论》等均具代表性。另又重订一些古代医著如《重订广温热论》、《通俗伤寒论》。是颇有影响之一代名医，人称“绍派伤寒之中坚”。
