【性状】
本品为无色或微黄色的澄明液体。
【鉴别】
(1) 取本品约3ml ，加二硝基苯肼试液1ml ，置水浴上加热，生成红色 絮状沉淀。 (2) 取含量测定项下的溶液，照分光光度法（附录Ⅳ A）测定，在301nm±2nm 的波 长处有最大吸收。
【检查】
pH值 应为4.0 ～6.0 （附录Ⅵ H）。 颜色 本品应无色；如显色，与黄色4 号标准比色液（附录Ⅸ A）比较，不得更深。 装量 按最低装量检查法（附录Ⅹ F）检查，应符合规定。
【含量测定】
精密量取本品适量，加水定量稀释制成每1ml 中约含15μg的溶液， 照分光光度法（附录Ⅳ A），在301nm的波长处测定吸收度；另取富马酸酮替芬对照品， 同法测定，计算，即得。
