| 黄宽（1829～1878） 中国清代医生，中国最早出国留学学习西医者。字绰卿，号杰臣。1829年生于广东香山（今中山），1878年10月2日卒于广州。1841年就读于澳门马礼逊教会学堂。1849年毕业于美国马萨诸塞州曼松学校，获文学学士学位。1850年赴英国爱丁堡大学学习，获医学学士学位。1856～1857年作病理学和解剖研究生，获医学博士学位。1857年在香港开诊所，后赴广州在伦敦传教会的惠爱医馆任职并在博济医院兼职。擅长外科，1860年首次在中国施行胚胎截开术。1862年被李鸿章聘为医官，半年后辞职回广州开业。1863年被聘为广州海关医务处医官。1866年，在博济医院创建的南华医学院，担任解剖学、生理学、化学、外科和内科的教学工作。1867年代理博济医院院长，并在该院施行首例尸体解剖。他医术高明，医德高尚，热心治病与教学。 |
