| 开窍剂 以辛香走窜的开窍药为主要组成 ，具有通关、开窍、醒神作用的一类方剂。主要治疗温邪热毒内陷心包引起的高热，神昏，谵语，抽搐等热闭证，或痰浊内闭引起的突然昏倒，不省人事，牙关紧闭，痰涎壅盛等寒闭证，亦可治疗中暑昏厥。根据作用不同，开窍药可分为凉开剂、温开剂(见表)。开窍剂只用于邪气盛实的闭证，对于大汗肢冷，神昏气厥等虚脱证，不宜使用。开窍剂中多有辛散走窜药，只可暂用，不可久用，以防伤正气。部分开窍剂含有活血通经及堕胎作用的药，孕妇慎用。也不能过久服用，以免中毒。
