Factor analysis has been done on the entrance examination score of the graduate study applicants in year 2001,the findings show that two factors distinguish themselves from the others in the contribution to the total scores of the 5 courses tested.

The results showed: (1) In contrast with male students, female students were superior for the learning experience and test performance; (2) There existed the significant relationship between learning anxiety, learning attitude and motivation with the test performance.

By means of literature review,surveys and mathematical statistics,the authors have investigated in the relationship between undergraduates’ physical qualities,type of temperament,goal orientation and their Wushu test performance.

In this note,some conditions under which the examination result has a normal distribution are discussed.
