利用免疫反应和放射性同位素技术在体外进行测定的一种方法。其原理是用放射-核素标记抗原或抗体，可检出相应的微量抗体或抗原，放射免疫技术是放射-核素与免疫学技术结合的高度灵敏方法，能测出Pg(10-12）的微量抗原，特异性很高。可用以检测单纯疱疹病毒、牛痘病毒、巨细胞病毒、虫媒病毒、腺病毒、轮状病毒、Norwalk因子，以及抗-HBC、抗-HBs、抗-HBe等，目前主要用于乙型肝炎、抗原测定和一些细胞因子的测定。
