形态特征:防己科千金藤属草质藤本植物。小枝纤细。叶互生，叶柄长5-6厘米，叶片阔卵状三角形，长5-6厘米，宽6-7厘米，两侧近等，顶端具小的锐凸尖，基部截平，薄膜质。6-7月开花，花序腋生，聚伞花序，总花梗极纤细，长3-4厘米，伞梗约5-6，花梗丝状;萼片6，紫红色，膜质，狭卵状长圆形，长约1.5毫米;花瓣3-4，紫红色，常有2枚为椭圆形，长0.6毫米，宽0.4毫米，另2枚较大，倒心形，长0.8毫米，宽0.5毫米。核果近倒卵形，扁平。
生境分布 生于海拔2300-2500米的山坡灌丛中、林下。分布于西藏南部(樟木)。尼泊尔也有。
