【性状】
本品为黄色微有黏性的澄明液体。
【鉴别】
取本品2ml(约相当于吲哚美辛20mg)，加水至10ml，再加20％氢氧化钠溶液 2～3滴，摇匀，照下述方法试验。 (1) 取溶液1ml，加0.03％重铬酸钾溶液0.3ml，加热至沸，放冷,加硫酸2～3滴,置 水浴上缓缓加热，应显红紫色。 (2) 取溶液1ml，加0.1％亚硝酸钠溶液0.3ml，加热至沸，放冷，加盐酸0.5ml，应 显绿色，放置后，渐变黄色。
【检查】
pH值 应为6.0～7.0(附录Ⅵ H)。 乙醇量 应为52.0％～62.0％(附录Ⅶ E)。 其他 应符合搽剂项下有关的各项规定（Ⅰ T）。
【含量测定】
精密量取本品适量(约相当于吲哚美辛50mg)，置100ml量瓶中，加甲 醇稀释至刻度，摇匀；精密量取5ml，置另一100ml量瓶中,加磷酸盐缓冲液(pH7.2)－甲 醇(1:1)稀释至刻度，摇匀，照分光光度法(附录Ⅳ A)，在320nm±2nm的波长处测定吸收 度，按C19H16ClNO4的吸收系数(E1％ 1cm)为193计算，即得。
