【性状】
本品为脂肪性基质制成的白色或淡黄色栓。
【鉴别】
取本品适量（约相当于吲哚美辛50mg），加水50ml与20％氢氧化钠溶液 0.5ml ，加热搅拌使吲哚美辛溶解，放冷，待基质凝固后滤过，取滤液，照吲哚美辛项下的 鉴别(1) 项试验，显相同的反应。
【检查】
应符合栓剂项下有关的各项规定（附录Ⅰ D）。
【含量测定】
取本品10粒，精密称定，微温使熔化，混匀，冷凝后，精密称取适 量（约相当于吲哚美辛5mg），置200ml 量瓶中，加甲醇100ml ，置60℃水浴中，振摇 使溶解，加磷酸盐缓冲液(pH7.2)80ml ，摇匀，置冰浴中冷却1～1.5 小时后，移置室 温处，再加磷酸盐缓冲液(pH7.2) 稀释至刻度，摇匀，滤过，取续滤液，照分光光度法 （附录Ⅳ A），在320nm±2nm 的波长处测定吸收度，按C19H16ClNO4的吸收系数（Ｅ1% 1cm） 为193 计算，即得。
