| 胃蝇属 Gastrophilus； bot flies 双翅目胃蝇科的一属。中国常见的有肠胃蝇、赤尾胃蝇、黑腹胃蝇和鼻胃蝇。胃蝇成虫的外形很像蜜蜂，全身密被绒毛，两复眼小而分开较远，口器退化。胃蝇一年1代，成蝇仅活数日，产卵后死亡。胃蝇幼虫寄生于马、驴、骡的胃肠道里，偶见寄生于兔和犬的胃内，人也有被感染的报道。这类寄生虫病主要引起胃的消化、运动和分泌机能的障碍，以及由于幼虫分泌毒素，致使马匹的健康受到严重影响，使役能力大大降低，严重的往往造成死亡。 |
