X线平片
X线检查方法之一。利用受检部位组织结构具有的天然对比摄取的X线照片。平片是借助X线的“穿透性”和对胶片的“感光作用”而摄取，是基本的X线检查方法之一。平片上，感光乳剂的每一银盐颗粒即为一个像素。银盐颗粒很小(最大者仅为0.003mm)，故平片具有较高的空间分辨力，对细微结构的显示较好。受检组织在平片摄影中仅可显示其天然对比可提供的四个层次的密度差别(骨、软组织、脂肪、空气)，不能区分密度上近似的结构，如头颅平片上即不能识别脑组织、脑室系统、脑膜、血管等结构，因此平片具有较低的密度分辨力。平片系二维投影影像，每一X线束穿行轨迹上的任何结构都重叠投影在同一点上。为了解决二维投影带来的诊断问题，常需在一个部位作互相垂直的两个方向投照，有时还需作更多方向的投照。平片中可提取相当大量的诊断信息。在医学影像学已高度发展的今天，平片仍为一种不可替代的检查方法。
