| 灸法 以经络、脏腑等理论为指导，利用某种易燃的材料或药物，在穴位上或患处烧灼或熏熨，借其温热性能，通过经络的作用来调解人体生理平衡，从而达到防病治病目的的一种方法。灸法在临床上，根据施灸材料、施灸方法和施灸温度的不同，可分为各类灸法（见表）。
在一般情况下，施行温灸法只在局部有温热感 ，施行烧灼的灸法只在局部有烧灼感。但如集中在一个部位连续较长时间地施灸，则会出现温热感循着经脉向远端部位传导，其疗效远较未得气为佳。感传的宽窄同施灸面积的大小有关，且易于扩散，有时扩散到整个上肢或下肢，乃至全身。感传所到部位可见到微汗，肌肉震颤以及某些器官的功能活动，如胃肠蠕动、鼻腔通畅等。 灸法具有温经散寒，疏通经络、扶正培本，升提中气等作用。现代实验研究表明：艾灸有明显的调整作用，尤其对免疫系统的影响更为显著，能使白细胞的吞噬能力加强。灸法主要用于阳气虚、阴寒偏盛的病证，如久泄、水肿、腹痛、胃脘痛、遗尿、疝气及妇女气虚崩漏，男子虚羸少气、小儿疳积，老年阳虚多尿等。颜面、五官、阴部及有大血管的部位不宜施用直接灸，妇女月经期及妊娠期的少腹部、腰骶部不宜施灸。阴虚阳亢和实热证，不宜用烧灼灸法。 |
