性质:又称促甲状腺素释放激素。由丘脑下部提取或人工合成制得。三肽,易溶于无水甲醇,略溶于氯仿,不溶于吡啶。TRF是下丘脑所分泌的激素释放因子之一,下丘脑只含TRH总量的31%,实际上除小脑外,脑的各部分都存在TRH。TRH不仅调节垂体前叶释放促甲状腺激素,也促进生长激素和催乳激素的释放。垂体和甲状腺功能诊断试剂,也用于治疗甲状腺功能减退和甲状腺癌。
