一种萜,分子式C31H50O4。熔点160~162°C,比旋光度[α]D-124°C。从人工培养基培养的茯苓中获得。茯苓酸的二乙酸酯的熔点228°C;甲酯的熔点 164~164.5°C。茯苓酸及其甲醚可生成O-二乙酰茯苓酸和O-二乙酰茯苓酸甲酯。
