So called "Pisha rock", located in the border region of Shaanxi, Shaxi Prov inces and Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region is a continental facies of sedimentary rock sequence consisting of mudstone, muddy siltstone, silty mudstone, sandstone and conglomeratic sandstone formed during the Triassic period.

(1905-1983) 四川岳池人。1925年加入中国共产主义青年团。同年转入中国共产党，曾任上海学生联合会党组书记、全国学生总会委员长、中共川西特委书记、四川省委宣传部长、延安大学代理副校长、东北人民政府交通部秘书长。建国后，任川南行署副主任兼中共川南区党委宣传部长、教育部教育指导司长、南开大学副校长、云南省副省长、中共云南大学党委书记兼校长、全国政协委员、云南省政协副主席。1983年5月6日病逝。
