岩爆 rock burst 岩体中聚积的弹性变形能在地下工程开挖中突然猛烈释放,使岩石爆裂并弹射出来的现象。轻微的岩爆仅剥落岩片,无弹射现象。严重的可测到4.6级的震级,一般持续几天或几个月。发生岩爆的原因是岩体中有较高的地应力,并且超过了岩石本身的强度,同时岩石具有较高的脆性度和弹性。这时一旦地下工程破坏了岩体的平衡,强大的能量把岩石破坏,并将破碎岩石抛出。预防岩爆的方法是应力解除法、注水软化法和使用锚栓-钢丝网-混凝土支护。
