老年养生学专著。又名《奉亲养老书》、《寿亲养老书》。1卷，分15篇。北宋陈直撰。陈直生平不详,仅知于北宋元丰年间(1078～1085)任泰川通化(今属江苏)县令。本书广泛搜集老人“食治之方,医药之法,摄养之道”，专门论述老人养生及防病治病的理论和方法。共收四季通用和应时药方、食疗方、备急方共 231首，其中食疗方占 182首，反映了作者对食疗法的重视。作者认为老人“以食治疾胜于用药”,故广泛收集食治方,用治老人常见的眼目耳病、五劳七伤、虚损羸瘦、脾胃气弱等多种病症。此外书中还描述了老年人的生理、心理和病理特点。主张老人用药，只可用顺气、进食、补虚、中和或性偏温平之药治之，取其“扶持”作用，不宜妄用汗、吐、下之剂。强调老人的精神调摄和心情舒畅在保健方面的重要性，并一一列述老人行住坐卧、宴处起居应当节慎之处。本书所述各种养生方法，大多简便易行，切合实用，但其中也掺杂有一些封建礼教内容。现存明万历年间刻本等。元代邹
