    学名3-苯基丙烯酸肉桂酯。白色结晶。分子量264.33。密度1.156g/cm3。熔点45℃。沸点370℃。不溶于水。溶于醚。以1:20溶于冷乙醇;以1:3溶于沸乙醇。具有微弱的香脂香气。
    生产方法:主要采用合成法。以肉桂醛和乙醇铝为原料,在无水乙醚存在下进行合成反应而得。也可采用苏合香脂等天然原料经提取而得。
    用途:酯类合成香料。主要用作香石竹、风信子、晚香玉等花香型香精的定香剂。
