It is very difficult to determine precisely the distribution of the stresses in concave-grooveof extrusion wheel.By using the theory of complex function of elastic mechanics,a new calcu-lating method about stresses in concave-groove is presented. The effect of the stresses con-centration which is relevent to the geometric parameters is given.
应用弹性力学的复变函数理论对连续挤压机挤压轮的轮槽应力进行了分析计算,指出了轮槽主要多数对应力集中的影响,这对挤压轮的失效分析和设计具有重要的指导意义。

The causes of extrusion wheel fracture was analyzed by optical direct reading spectrometer,optical microscope and scanning electron microscope(SEM).
