传热元件用石墨制成的换热器。制造换热器的石墨应具有不透性,常用浸渍类不透性石墨和压型不透性石墨。石墨换热器按其结构可分为块孔式、管壳式和板式3种类型。①块孔式:由若干个带孔的块状石墨元件组装而成(见图)。②管壳式:管壳式换热器在石墨换热器中占有重要地位,按结构又分为固定式和浮头式两种。③板式:板式换热器用石墨板粘结制成。此外,还有沉浸式、喷淋式和套管式等(见蛇管式换热器、套管式换热器)。石墨换热器耐腐蚀性能好,传热面不易结垢,传热性能良好。但石墨易脆裂,抗弯和抗拉强度低,因而只能用于低压,即使承压能力最好的块孔状结构,其工作压力一般也仅为0.3~0.5兆帕。石墨换热器的成本高,体积大,使用不多。它主要用于盐酸、硫酸、醋酸和磷酸等腐蚀性介质的换热,如用作醋酸和醋酸酐的冷凝器等。
