This paper researches the level of soil environmental responses to the impacts of tourist activities in the Jinyun mountain of Chongqing by studying the soil single-factor change rate and the soil environmental response index based on field investigation and experimentation.

Based on the author s understanding of the concept and meaning of recreation and eco-tourism, the paper starts with a definition of urban eco-recreation, probes into the principles that should be followed to construct eco-recreation zone on Chongming island, and studies its development and product design.
