主要用于制备聚氨酯类泡沫塑料的催化剂以及环氧树脂的固化剂，还用作农药生产的引发剂如六氢吡啶的引发剂，以及无氰电镀添加剂。
要求密封存放在通风、阴凉、干燥处，避免阳光直射。
