A new tripodal ligand containing ferrocenyl and hydrazone groups was synthesized by the condensation of ferrocenylcarbonylhydrazine with tris {[2 (2 formylphenyl)oxo]ethyl}amine and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and 1H NMR.
