长身贝目 Productida 腕足动物门具铰纲中一类已绝灭的海生无脊椎动物。通常腹瓣强凸,两壳向前延伸,故得长身之名。初见于早泥盆世,至晚古生代达于极盛,二叠纪末突然衰亡,仅存少数属种延至三叠纪最早期。 长身贝类为假疹质壳,两壳呈凹凸型,少数为平凸型,以腹壳的顶部固着,或以不同型式的壳刺连接外物。壳体内部腹瓣大多缺失铰齿,背瓣内部具复杂的主突起、肌痕、腕痕、内刺等构造,开肌附着的主突起,是背壳内部变化最大的部分。壳面上饰有中空的壳刺。 长身贝目共分4个超科,已超过300属,并且随着古生物化石的发现还在迅速增加。 |
