In the light of the problemes for lack of paddy varieties with good quality in China's rice milling industry and cereal ageing in storage, several key techniques urgently needed for improving the edible quality of aged rice and developing the complete rice, as well as the new products developed at present were put forward in order to improve the economic benefits of the enterprise.

For full exploitation of information from the samples of dam safety evaluation indexes for reasonable determination of the weight of each evaluation index, a weighting model based on projecting pursuit analysis directly drived by the sample data is proposed for extracting the weights of the evaluation indexes.
