      能可靠分断低过载电流至额定分断电流的熔断器。全范围熔断器有3种结构形式:①由高分断能力熔断器和喷射式熔断器串联组成的熔断器。既具有高额定分断能力又具有良好的低过载电流分断特性。②把熔体分成比一般熔断器多几倍的并联熔体的结构。③采用冶金效应与覆盖产生气体材料相结合的结构。这种结构是在熔体冶金效应部分覆盖一层聚四氟乙稀之类的产气材料,当低过载电流通过熔体在冶金效应点上熔化时,覆盖物即产生大量气体,加剧燃弧作用,促使熔断部分扩大到狭颈上,最后熄灭电弧分断电路。采用这种结构的主要为低压全范围熔断器。
