    结构式为CH3COOCH2CH(CH3)2,分子量116.16。无色液体,水果香味。相对密度(20℃/4℃)0.8745.凝固点-98.9℃,沸点117.2℃,闪点(开口)31.1℃,燃点422.8℃,折射率1.3902,粘度(20℃)0.697mPa·s,比热容2.11kJ/(kg·K),溶解度参数δ=8.3。能与醇、醚、烃等多种有机溶剂混溶。微溶于水,20 ℃时在水中溶解0.67%(wt)。易燃,蒸气与空气形成爆炸性混合物,爆炸极限2.4%-1. 0.5%(vol)。毒性较低,空气中最高容许浓度400mg/m3(或0.015%)。
    用作溶剂,能代替醋酸正丁酯和甲基异丁基甲酯(MIBK)。贮存于阴凉、干燥的库房内,远离火种、热源。贮存期6个月。
