| 岩爆 rock burst 岩体中聚积的弹性变形能在地下工程开挖中突然猛烈释放，使岩石爆裂并弹射出来的现象。轻微的岩爆仅剥落岩片，无弹射现象。严重的可测到4.6级的震级，一般持续几天或几个月。发生岩爆的原因是岩体中有较高的地应力，并且超过了岩石本身的强度，同时岩石具有较高的脆性度和弹性。这时一旦地下工程破坏了岩体的平衡，强大的能量把岩石破坏，并将破碎岩石抛出。预防岩爆的方法是应力解除法、注水软化法和使用锚栓-钢丝网-混凝土支护。
