性质:胶体粒子的形成可以看作是新相形成并且长大到胶体大小的过程,其中的新相形成阶段称作晶核形成。如果此过程是在均相介质中进行的,则称为均相成核(homogeneous nucleation),此时介质中各处核化的可能性相同。如果介质中有外来杂质(核化剂)作为成核中心,则称为多相成核或异相成核(heterogeneous nucleation)。
