【性状】
本品为白色或类白色的结晶性或颗粒性粉末；无臭，味苦。 本品在水中易溶，在乙醇中溶解，在氯仿中略溶，在乙醚中几乎不溶。 熔点 取本品，装入熔点测定毛细管中，减压熔封，依法测定（附录Ⅵ C），熔点 为88～93℃。
【鉴别】
(1) 取本品约20mg，加水2ml 溶解后，加稀盐酸4 滴与亚铁氰化钾试液 数滴，即生成黄白色晶形沉淀。 (2) 取本品约20mg，加水10ml溶解后，加稀盐酸2 滴与重铬酸钾试液数滴，即生成 黄色沉淀。 (3) 本品显枸橼酸盐的鉴别反应（附录Ⅲ）。 (4) 本品的红外光吸收图谱应与对照的图谱（光谱集267 图）一致。
【检查】
溶液的澄清度 取本品0.5g，加水5ml ，振摇使溶解，与3 号浊度标准 液（附录Ⅸ B）比较，不得更浓。 有关物质 取本品，加乙醇制成每1ml 中含30mg的溶液，作为供试品溶液；精密量 取适量，加乙醇稀释成每1ml 中含0.30mg的溶液，作为对照溶液。照薄层色谱法（附录 Ⅴ B）试验，吸取上述两种溶液各5μl，分别点于同一硅胶Ｇ薄层板上，以醋酸乙酯－ 甲醇－浓氨溶液(27:2.5:0.6)为展开剂，展开后，晾干，喷以稀碘化铋钾试液使显色， 立即检视。供试品溶液如显杂质斑点，不得多于3 个，其颜色与对照溶液的主斑点比较， 不得更深。 干燥失重 取本品，置五氧化二磷干燥器中，减压干燥至恒重，减失重量不得过 1.0％（附录Ⅷ L）。 炽灼残渣 取本品1.0g，依法检查（附录Ⅷ N），遗留残渣不得过0.1 ％。 重金属 取炽灼残渣项下遗留的残渣，依法检查（附录Ⅷ H第二法），含重金属不 得过百万分之十五。
【含量测定】
取本品约0.4g，精密称定，加冰醋酸10ml溶解后，加结晶紫指示液 1 滴，用高氯酸滴定液(0.1mol/L)滴定至溶液显蓝色，并将滴定的结果用空白试验校 正。每1ml高氯酸滴定液(0.1mol/L)相当于52.56mg 的C20H31NO3.C6H8O7。
