性质:白色结晶。熔点28.5℃,沸点184.3℃,61.9℃(1.33kPa),相对密度1.3955(20/4℃),折光率1.5477。溶于乙醇、乙醚和苯,不溶于水。

制备方法:由对甲苯胺重氮化、置换而得。先将硫酸水溶液趁热加入粉碎的对甲苯胺中,冷至5℃,慢慢加入亚硝酸钠水溶液至淀粉碘化钾试纸变蓝。然后加少量尿素破坏过量的亚硝酸钠。再将合成好的溴化亚铜加入氢溴酸,加热至沸腾,然后慢慢加入上述重氮盐,将其蒸馏至不出油状物为止。洗涤、干燥、过滤,常压蒸馏,收集183-185℃馏分而得成品。溴化亚铜-氢溴酸溶液可按下法配制:把硫酸铜、铜屑、溴化钠二水物、浓硫酸和水的混合物加热回流3-4h,至溶液变成淡黄色,即为溴化亚铜-氢溴酸溶液。

用途:用于有机合成。
