位于海拔482米高处，相传安期生为避暴秦，隐居安期峰这个天然石洞修道炼丹，成为后人崇拜的圣人。秦始皇及以后的各朝皇帝，都派钦差来寻访安期生，有的见他白发苍苍，称他为“千岁翁”，有的见过他吃着巨枣，几劝不归。元朝文学家吴莱（1327年）秋游桃花山时也寻访过安期生，察看过炼丹洞遗迹，有“空余炼药鼎，尚有樵人知”的诗句留存。
