| 鲁尔煤田 Ruhr Coal Basin 德国最大煤田。位于德国西部的北莱茵-威斯特法伦州，邻近荷兰。面积6200平方千米，1200米（m）深度内的探明储量为652亿吨，其中可采储量342亿吨。探明储量中，肥煤占59％，气煤和长焰煤占22％，锻造煤15％，瘦煤和无烟煤4％。煤质优良，硫分0.5％～1.5％，灰分3％～18％，发热量达36兆焦／千克。鲁尔炼焦煤在国际市场上享有盛誉。含煤地层属上石炭纪，厚度超过4000m，可采煤层有55层，总厚度为88m。煤层很薄，1990年平均开采深度达900m，为世界之最。因此生产成本很高。鲁尔近代煤炭工业在19世纪40年代兴起。至1938年产量达1.27亿吨。60年代以来，由于石油、天然气和进口煤的竞争，生产渐趋萎缩，1990年产量下降到5460万吨。 鲁尔地区除采煤外 ，还是德国最大的钢铁 、电力中心（见鲁尔区）。 |
