补充资料：钟楼鼓楼
钟楼上的巨钟，重两吨，是清康熙三十五年由金、银、铜，铁、锡五金铸成，上镌刻《金刚般若波罗密经》, 6372字。撞钟僧每撞一下钟,要念108遍佛。奇怪的是该寺不打五更钟。相传此为龙潭，寺僧向龙借地建寺, 言称五更即还。建成后，第一次打五更钟，就风雨大作，殿角崩塌,只好用御赐经镇住。自此不打五更钟。
鼓楼上有两整张牛皮蒙制的巨鼓。
