性质：海藻糖苷酶是一组由不同微生物产生的水解酶，使海藻糖转化为二分子的葡萄糖，其抑制剂也是由不同放线菌产生的结构各异的化合物。结构和性质研究比较清楚的有：海藻唑啉(trehazolin)，有效霉素A、B(validoxylamineA、B)，2R，5R-二羟甲基，3R，4R-二羟基吡咯(DMDP)，海藻糖抑素(trehalostatin)是Amycolatopsis产生的，结构未详。海藻糖苷酶抑制剂能抑制不同来源的酶，但对α-，β-葡萄糖苷作用很弱，对纤维素酶、糖化酶、淀粉酶无效。
