银盘山位于花岩溪景区五溪湖北岸，神公寨东侧，三面环水，其状如盘，故此得名。这里青山相伴，青松常在，山水清幽，景色宜人，是旅途中游憩之所。登上银盘山，面对碧绿的湖水，灿烂的鲜花，奔泻的山泉，飞动的流云，让人乐而忘返。
银盘山上建有集品茶、餐饮、游艺、住宿于一体的静亭群落，号称银盘山茶庄。亭阁布局别具一格，在浓郁的南方园林特色，是文人墨客著书立说、学者考察研讨、武士练动采气、老人休闲疗养、情侣谈情说爱的理想场所。
清代本地秀才莫伟贤曾留下赞诗一首：
发祥自古号银盘，累世宗灵此地安。
玉带水流清几曲，龙孙竹矗翠干竿。
倘能云路身先到，也觉陇冈表不难。
今日闲临舒眼界，花香鸟语尽堪欢。
