高山寺
高山寺由光仁天皇恩准创建于公元774年，高山寺的建造风格为镰仓时代初期的寝殿造形式，造型优美。院中寺内有1万余件宝物，其中国宝7件，重要文化遗产1500多件。高山寺中的石水院被列为日本的国宝，院中保存有“鸟兽野人”等日本名画的复制品。通往金堂的小路途中，还保留有日本最古老的茶园，每年秋季举行献茶式。高山寺还是京都著名红叶观赏景点，寺内的参天的古杉也很有名。高山寺已被列为世界文化遗产。
