aam—2是由日本三菱重工业公司于l966年开始研制的一种aam—l空对空导弹的后继弹。
aam—2的气动外形与美国的“猎鹰”aim—4d空对空导弹颇多相似之处。它的主要改
进是，导引头采用了比较先进的锑化钥红外光敏元件，从而扩大了导弹的攻击区，使之具
备了全向攻击能力。该弹主要装备在70年代日本的主力战斗机f—4“鬼怪”式飞机上。
