中华民间艺术村位于西安电影制片厂秦王宫内。1994年4月由省文化厅牵头开发建设，是西安市区新开发的民俗旅游景点。
艺术村以仿古集镇建筑形式，并建有窑洞，各种作坊、店铺、酒肆，古朴典雅，庭院内花草芬芳，旁有小桥流水。艺术村汇集了西安地区的各种民间艺术，并聘请20多名民间艺人为游客现场表演，游客身临其境，还可以直接参与制做，增添游兴，增长见识。
艺术村展示的主要民间艺术项目和活动有：民间织布、织毯、草竹编、毛麻绣、布艺等编织工艺；制陶、泥塑、木雕、石雕、碑刻、造纸、铸铁和民族器乐制做等雕制铸造工艺；木板年画、布堆画、农民画、书法和陕北剪纸表演。艺术村有独具地方特色的各种旅游工艺品、纪念品可供选购，还有骑马、射箭等文娱体育活动。
