The essential oil from Conocephalum conicum was analyzed by GC-MS and 38 compounds were identified in the oil.
利用气相色谱 质谱联用技术对我国四川省峨嵋山地区蛇苔挥发油的化学成分进行了研究 ,共鉴定出 38种成分 ,占挥发油成分总量的 91 15 7% ,其中单萜、倍半萜类成分较多 ,顺异丁子香酚的含量最高 ,占挥发油成分总量的 14 4 % ,并且我们从乙醇浸膏中分离得到了化合物 3,4 二甲氧基苯乙烯、β 谷甾醇和胡萝卜苷。

形态特征:蛇苔科蛇苔属植物。叶状体宽带状，革质，深绿，略具光泽，长5-10厘米，宽约1-2厘米，花纹很像一种蛇的皮。雌雄异株。雄托椭圆状，紫色; 雌托圆锥状，褐黄色，托下面着生总苞，苞内具一个苞葫。
生境分布 多生于溪边林下湿碎石和土上。我国各地区都有分布。欧洲、北美、亚洲中部及东部其他地区也有。
