性质:利用高分子膜的微孔性、疏水性和低导热性而达到水纯化和溶液浓缩的膜分离技术。是一种以温度为推动力的运行过程,在膜两侧表面边界的两种含水流体有不同的温度,温度差造成蒸气压力差使蒸气分子经过膜孔进行传输,与蒸馏中的蒸发、传输和冷凝过程相类似。但膜蒸馏可在低于溶液沸点和正常压力下进行,能利用工业废热、太阳能等。膜蒸馏用的膜有聚丙烯、聚四氟乙烯、聚偏二氟乙烯等疏水性微孔膜。可以用卷式、中空纤维式、管式或板框式组件构成膜蒸馏设备。可以进行废水处理或某些化学物质的分离、加收以及产品浓缩等。
